John and Wayne are a safe pair of hands for the North. We understand how Council operates and know how to get the job done.
We fought for Penlink. We are strongly against Three Waters. We will continue fighting to keep public land in public ownership.
We have an action-ready plan to ease congestion, stop wasteful Council spending, and implement responsible urban planning.

Improved transport network including motorways, busways and cycleways.
We'll advocate against unneeded and harmful housing intensification.
As always we’ll make the community and our environment a top priority.

These last few years and the ones coming up will see the East Coast Bays benefit from more major infrastructure projects than at any other time in our history - through the Northern Motorway improvements, large wastewater/water upgrades and enhancements to the local bus network.
These last few years and the ones coming up will see the Hibiscus Coast benefit from more major infrastructure projects than at any other time in our history - through Penlink, the Northern Motorway improvements, a huge upgrade to the local bus network and ferry enhancements.
These last few years and the ones coming up will see the Upper Harbour benefit from more major infrastructure projects than at any other time in our history - through the Northern Motorway improvements, a huge upgrade to the local bus network and ferry enhancements.

The latest news for the Bays, Coast and Harbour
The HBC Grey Power meeting in Orewa traditionally marks the first election meeting in the ward. As per usual a very well run and well attended meeting with everyone given ample opportunity to have a say. Encouraging to see such a good turn out of candidates and an audience taking a real interest in what's happening in their community.

read MOREWe weren't joking about the rock falls around the Coast. This latest one near Army Bay - the boulders that have come down are huge and have ended up a good 20 metres or so from the cliff face. There are other locations where you can see the water has got in behind the rock face and could go the same way. The extent of this particular fall is really quite striking. You certainly wouldn't want to be anywhere near it when it goes.
